Golden Topside-Down Tuna Pie

Unbelievably tasty! — Aunt Betty


  • 4 lemon slices
  • 1 can tuna
  • 1/4 cup soft, white bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp snipped parsley
  • 1/4 cup Italian dressing
  • 3/4 cup biscuit mix
  • 4 tbsp milk


Heat oven to 400 and arrange lemon on bottom of pie plate. Combine tuna, bread crumbs, egg, parsley and Italian dressing, and spread over lemon slices. Combine biscuit mix and milk, mix with fork into soft dough. Spread over tuna mixture. Bake 30 minutes, or until top is golden brown. Loosen edges and invert on serving plate. Garnish, if desired, with pimiento strips.
