Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 lb can solid pack tomatoes
  • 1lb can blue lake green beans, undrained
  • 1/2 cup raw rice
  • 2 tablespoons instant minced onion
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

Brown lamb in hot oil. Combine with all remaining ingredients in a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Cover and bake in a moderate oven at 350F 1 hour, until rice is tender. Makes 5 to 6 servings.
