Caramel Sauce

Irene’s Caramel Sauce

Mix:
2 egg yolks
1/2 c brown sugar, packed
1/2 c white sugar
1/2 c water
1/4 c real butter, sliced
1 tsp vanilla

Place in pan sitting over pan of hot water. Cook, stirring constantly until thick. 
Use as desired as a topping over fresh fruit or other puddings or desserts.
